Online Motorcycle Insurance

im wondering wahts the best bike to get for a beginner. ive done a BIT of research and everyone seems to think kawasaki ninja 250 is best.
for my first bike should i buy new or second hand.

also the reason i want motorbike license is becuase i think its a lot cheaper to get a DECENT motorbike rather than a DECENT car.
do motorbikes need as much maintenance as cars. does it cost more etc? insurance?

please just list as many pros and cons of having a motorbike as you can.
im not worried about speed. atm i prefer to save money

Soon to be 16 and starting to think about the future. To me cars cost alot for a rubbish one. Insurance cost loads, so does petrol. Bikes seem to be alot cheaper and economical. I think I’m going to get a 50cc when I’m 16 and then I just don’t know. Carry on with bikes or get a car when I’m 17 and drop the bikes. Any help, advice or suggestions are very welcome.

I need some advice concerning buying a moped or a small motorbike for use in London. I’ve done a bit of research into it, but there are still a couple of questions I’ve got.

Ideally, I’d like a moped that can carry two passengers. I don’t really care whether it’s 50cc or 125cc+ just that it’ll be able to get me around with a passenger. The Honda ‘Lead’ looks alright, but does anyone have any cheaper suggestions? I’ve been told that it’s wiser to buy a new vehicle as second hand bikes can be terribly unreliable.

I’m taking my car practical test in the next few weeks so I should have a full driver’s license soon (if I pass, haha).

Does this mean I still have to take the CBT? How much is tax and insurance roughly? Will I still have to wear learner plates? Will I be able to carry another passenger legally?

I am buying a motorcycle off a friend of mine. I trust him. He doesn’t have the original title, and he is having a difficult time with the previous lein company. He is dealing with that on his end when he gets a chance, he is gone alot. What i want to know, is can we go ahead and do up a bill of sale instead, i can use that to get the insurance,registration and stuff from the DMV. I think i read online that the DMV will issue a duplicate title with a bill of sale anyway? Whenever the title does come, then that can be signed over too i suppose. thanks for looking.
